Preview: "Eurovision Song Contest 2025" on Das Erste

As every year, viewers from Germany and Austria can get in the mood for the Eurovision Song Contest final together. This year's big Eurovision Song Contest party will take place in Basel – against a stunning backdrop right on the Rhine. Barbara Schöneberger will host the show and host prominent Eurovision Song Contest fans from both countries. Also present will be this year's representatives from Germany and Austria: Abor & Tynna for Germany and JJ for Austria. Both acts have been selected to represent their countries in this year's competition.

The 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Basel, following Nemo's 2024 victory for Switzerland. The duo Abor & Tynna will represent Germany with the song "Baller." A total of 26 countries will compete in the final, which will take place in the St. Jakobshalle under the motto "United By Music." In addition to host Switzerland, the so-called Big Five—France, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, and Germany—are automatically qualified for the final.

8:15 p.m., ZDF, Wilsberg: Washed with all waters, crime thriller

Wilsberg (Leonard Lansink) hasn't paid his water bill and is now without water. When environmental activist Edgar Fehrenbach (Fabian Jaray) suddenly disappears, Wilsberg suspects a connection. Edgar apparently wanted to meet with whistleblower Frederik Meissner (Metehan Demiröz) to obtain incriminating evidence about rising water prices. On behalf of Edgar's girlfriend Clara, Wilsberg begins an investigation – and stumbles upon Meissner's body.
